Verbs which take Infinitive Complements Preceded by the Preposition "de" in French

In French, some verbs require the infinitive form of another verb to be preceded by the preposition 'de'. This lesson will guide you through the verbs that use 'de' before an infinitive.

Verbs that Require 'de'[edit | edit source]

Here is a list of common verbs that take an infinitive complement preceded by 'de':

  • Arrêter de (to stop)
  • Choisir de (to choose to)
  • Décider de (to decide to)
