Regular Plural

• Many nouns ending in -ail have a regular plural in -ails, for example: 😀
  • des details (details),
  • des éventails (fans),
  • des rails (rails),
  • des gouvernails (rudders).

Irregular Plural

• 👀 However, a number of nouns in -ail are pluralized with -aux, like in the examples below:
