Family Time

Spending time with your family is usually something that's important for Swedes, and how we do that, of course, depends on how old we are and where we live in relation to our family. For families with children who live at home, weekends are usually a time spent together, at least partly. How the time together is spent varies, but it's not uncommon to spend one of the weekend nights together in front of the TV watching either a TV show or a movie and eating snacks. There are, of course, other activities that Swedish families like to engage in together, things like going to the swimming pool, ice skating, going to the mall, or going to see a football, hockey, or handball game.
