Expressions for talking about others' daily routines
To talk about the daily routines of other people, we need to use different verb forms than when describing our own routines. Here are a few examples of the most common verbs and expressions used in Persian:

Asking about others' daily routines
In Persian, to ask about someone else's daily routine, we can use the following questions:
- شما چهوقت کار میکنید؟ (shomā che vaght kār mikonid?) - When do you work?
- چهمدت میخوابید؟ (chand modat mikhābid?) - How long do you sleep?
- چهچیزی میخورید؟ (che chizi mikhورید?) - What do you eat?
- چیزی مینوشید؟ (chizi minoshid?) - Are you drinking anything?
- چهوقت جمع میشوید؟ (che vaght jam' mikonid?) - When do you meet?
- در حال تماشا کردن چهچیزی هستید؟ (dar hāl tamāshā kardan che chizi hasted?) - What are you watching right now?
Talking about others' daily routines
Here are some examples of sentences that you can use to talk about other people's daily routines:
- او صبح ها در حال کار کردن است. (u sobh-hā dar hāl kār kardan ast.) - He/she is working in the morning.
- آنها شبها ساعات طولانی میخوابند. (ānhā shabhā sā'āt-e tolāni mikhaband.) - They sleep for long hours at night.
- او همیشه ناهار را با برنج و مرغ میخورد. (u hamishe nāhār rā bā berenj-o morgh mikhord.) - He/she always eats lunch with rice and chicken.
- آنها بعد از ناهار چای مینوشند. (ānhā ba’d az nāhār chāi minoshand.) - They drink tea after lunch.
- ما هر شنبه شب در خانه داییامان تماشا میکنیم. (mā har shanbeh shab dar khhāne-i dāyī-eman tamāshā mikonim.) - We watch TV at our uncle's house every Saturday night.
- او فیلمهای هالیوودی را دوست دارد تماشا کند. (u film-ha-ye hāliwoodi rā dust dārad tamāshā konad.) - He/she likes to watch Hollywood movies.
Practice exercises

- What time do they meet?
- She takes care of her grandmother in the evening.
- He doesn't eat spicy food.
- Are you watching the news on TV?
- We sleep for six hours every night.
Answer key:
- آنها چهوقت جمع میشوند؟ (ānhā che vaght jam’ mishavand?)
- او بعد از ظهر برای مادربزرگش مراقبت میکند. (u ba’d az zohr barā-ye mādarbozorgash morāqebat mikonad.)
- او غذای تند نمیخورد. (u ghaza-ye tond nemikhorad.)
- شما خبر را تلویزیون نگاه میکنید؟ (shomā khabar rā televizion negah mikonid?)
- ما هر شب شش ساعت میخوابیم. (mā har shab shesh sā’at mikhābim.)
