Sounds in Kazakh
Sounds can be consonant and vowel. Some people make mistakes when they make plural form of nouns. It's easy if the noun ends with a vowel (you just need to add -лАр), but it's different when it comes to consonants. I'm sorry, I couldn't traslate actual names of the types of the sounds.
3 types of consonants in Kazakh[edit | edit source]
If we learn them, we can choose suffixes correctly.
Types | Consonants |
---|---|
Type 1 - Sonorous (Үнді) | л, м, н, ң, р, й, (у) |
Type 2 - Soft (Ұяң) | б, в, г, ғ, д, ж, з, һ |
Type 3 - Hard (Қатаң) | к, қ, п, с, т, ф, х, ц, ч, ш, щ |
