How long does it take to master fluently french accent? i've been having trouble learning such an amazing culture

It is the intonation, the pronunciation and the rhythm that are the basis of the different accents in the languages. In French, affrication and diphthong also bring a difference in the accent.What you are talking about is a fake problem! People with french language as their native language do not all have the same accent. Even within the same country ! Keep your attention to the first three factors mentioned above and you will avoid the risk of misunderstandings that this could cause. By experience, people who focus on a " perfect accent " give-up on short time.  Remind to learn step by step and everything will be ok. Good continuation in your learning.

    Excellent. When beginnig, we should not focus on things like accents. It's not necessary. If you understand french, you understand it in all accents. Learn the basics, listen, speak and so on. Good luck !

    U need to listen lot of french native conversations, like radio for example, even U don't understand everything, your ear will slowly adapt itself to the particular french accents. I think the "R" prononciation gonna be the hardest.

You dont must be demoralised by somes comments french is not that hard language if you want learn it you just need immers jour self. Try to study it . 3 months you will be really able. Take it from me
