In Korea, family is highly valued and respected. In fact, many Koreans prioritize their families above everything else. Below are some Korean family-related words and phrases:

Korean Pronunciation English
가족 gajok family
아버지 abeoji father (formal)
아빠 appa dad

누나 nuna older sister (if speaker is male)

You can use these words to talk about your own family, ask about someone's family, or introduce someone's family to others. For example, "제 아버지는 의사입니다" (My father is a doctor.) or "이분은 제 언니예요" (This person is my older sister.)

Friends

In Korea, having close friends is also important. It is common for Koreans to keep in touch with their friends for a long time, even if they move away or get busy. Below are some Korean words and phrases related to friendship:

Korean Pronunciation English
친구 chingu friend
절친 jeolchin best friend
친하다 chinhada to be close
함께하다 hamkkehada to be together
인연 inyeon fate (used to describe a strong connection between two people)

You can use these words to describe your own friendships or ask about someone's friends. For example, "우리는 친구로 시작해서 절친이 되었어요" (We started as friends and became best friends.) or "친구랑 함께 영화를 보러 갈 거예요" (I'm going to watch a movie with my friend.)

Conclusion
