- In Korea, it is common to exchange fruit baskets during important holidays like Chuseok, the Korean Thanksgiving. People visit relatives and bring gifts such as fruit baskets. - The fruit gift-giving culture is not just limited to holidays. When visiting someone's house or office for the first time, it is customary to bring a gift such as a fruit basket. - Korea is a country with four distinct seasons, and depending on the season, the price and availability of fruits can vary greatly. For example, in the summertime, watermelons are widely available and have lower prices. - In Korea, there is a widespread belief that eating watermelon and pomegranates in the summertime helps prevent heatstroke.

2. Use the following sentence structure to make your sentences about fruits: "[fruit name]์„/๋ฅผ [verb stem] + (์œผ)ใ„น ๊ฑฐ์˜ˆ์š”."

For example: - "์‚ฌ๊ณผ๋ฅผ ์ž๋ฅผ ๊ฑฐ์˜ˆ์š”." (I will cut an apple.) - "๋ณต์ˆญ์•„๋ฅผ ๋จน์„ ๊ฑฐ์˜ˆ์š”." (I will eat a peach.)

3. Watch this video about fruits in Korean and practice the words and sentences along with the speaker.
