感 găn respond; feel in Mandarin Chinese
Definition[edit | edit source]
Radical is 心 xīn “heart”. This radical, when occurring at the bottom of a character, is referred to colloquially as 心字底 xīnzìdĭ “bottom made up of the character 心.” Phonetic is 咸 xián “all.” Distinguish 感 from 或 huò and traditional 歲 suì.
