How to Ask Directions in Hindi

Follow this lesson and it will be easy for you to ask and answer about direction in Hindi.

Cardinal points[edit | edit source]

As in English, there are 4 cardinal points in Hindi:

  1. East=Purab
  2. West=Paschim
  3. North=Uttar
  4. South=Dakshin

Directions[edit | edit source]

  1. Right = Dahina
  2. Left = Baaya

Practice phrases[edit | edit source]

  • Where is the Park Street? = Park Street kaha hai?
  • Do you know the way of park street? = Kya aap Park Street ka rasta jante hai?
  • Answer:Haa, app sidhe 200m ja kar RIGHT le, SAMNE church milega. Park Street uske PURAB me hai.
