Welcome to the West End Intercambio English/Espanol event!

Hello everyone! Starting from Monday, May 8th, our Monday evenings will be held upstairs at Curlers, and Thursdays evenings will take place at Tennent's!

Curlers is conveniently located next to Hillhead subway on Byres Rd. When you enter, head upstairs, turn right, and you'll usually find us at the table in the far left corner by the window. Alternatively, at Tennent's, simply turn left as you enter from Byres Rd, and we're normally at one of the tables by the windows!

What level is required to join?
This group welcomes everyone, from beginners to native speakers. However, having even a basic conversational ability will enhance your experience!

What if I can't make it at exactly 7:00 PM?
The group is very relaxed, and we usually stay for a few hours. Feel free to join whenever you can make it. If you arrive at 7:00 PM and no one is there yet, give it around 15-20 minutes for people to arrive!

What if there's only one person signed up?
Although the event page may show only 1 or 2 RSVPs, there are usually more regular attendees, with a typical group size of around 10-15 people.

If you want to practice and improve your Spanish or English, join us at The Tennent's Bar on Byres Road at 7:00 PM on Mondays and Thursdays. We have different hosts on different nights, and occasionally none, but there will always be friendly people to give you a warm welcome. You can find us at the top of the stairs, where we'll be sitting on the long benches. We're excited to meet you and chat with you in Spanish and English.

We start with a 'Spanish half hour' followed by an 'English half hour' to ensure each language gets equal time and to introduce some fun topics to keep the conversation flowing. We can't wait to see our regular attendees and extend a special welcome to new members.
