Hello everyone! Starting from Monday, 8th May, our Monday evenings will be hosted at Curlers while Thursdays will take place at Tennent's!

Curlers is conveniently located next to Hillhead subway on Byres Rd. When you arrive, head upstairs, turn right, and you'll find us at the table in the far left corner by the window. At Tennent's, simply turn left after entering from Byres Rd, and you'll spot us at one of the tables by the windows!

Frequently Asked Questions

What level of proficiency is required to join?
The group welcomes everyone, from beginners to native speakers. Having even a basic conversational ability will enhance your experience!

If I can't make it exactly at 7:00 PM, is that a problem?
The atmosphere is very relaxed, and we usually stay for a few hours. Feel free to join whenever you can. If you arrive at 7:00 PM and no one's there yet, give it 15-20 minutes for others to arrive!

What if only one person is signed up for the event?
Don't worry if the event page shows only a couple of RSVPs. Typically, we have around 10-15 regular attendees.

If you're looking to practice and improve your Spanish or English, join us at The Tennent's Bar on Byres Road at 7:00 PM on Mondays and Thursdays. We have different hosts on different nights, and sometimes none, but you'll always be greeted by friendly people. You can find us at the top of the stairs where we'll be seated on the long benches. We're excited to meet you and chat in Spanish and English!

We kick off with a 'Spanish half hour' followed by an 'English half hour' to ensure equal time for each language and perhaps some engaging topics to keep the conversation flowing. We can't wait to see our regular members and extend a warm welcome to newcomers.
