Join the 318th edition of GLEXathon on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 7:00 PM. GLEX, short for Gyeonggi Language EXchange, is the largest language exchange Meetup in Gyeonggi Province, with over 3,400 members since its inception in 2015. Come and practice your English, Korean, Chinese, or any other language with fellow foreigners and Koreans for free.

Meetup Time:

Every Wednesday evening - 1st round is from 7PM to 9:30PM / 2nd round is from 9:30 and on

Meetup Place:

Join us for the 1st round at 'Cafe Grovy' or the 2nd round at 'Free Style' Pub. Cafe Grovy is located in the building behind the Paris Baguette Building in downtown Jungang-dong, a 5-minute walk from exit number 1 of Jungang Station.

Cost:

There is no cost to join; however, you should pay for any food or drinks that you might want to have at the venue. Every attending member is required to order at least one beverage. At 'Cafe Grovy', all members qualify for a special 10% discount. Let the clerk know that you're a GLEX Meetup member ("글렉스 멤버입니다").

After Meetup Gathering:

Join us for our optional gathering at 'Free Style' Pub located in the basement of the 'Dalcomm Coffee' building. Attendees are not obligated to do or pay for anything.

Requirements to Join:

• Step 1: Sign up for an account at our Meetup site.
• Step 2: To register that you will attend, click the RSVP registration button on the GLEX Meetup page for the day you'd like to attend. Please do not register if you are not serious about attending.
• Step 3: Send a message to the organizer via text message to 010-8900-0579 or by KakaoTalk to ID: yologlex, including your real name, Meetup account name, and contact number. This helps us identify who you are for the sake of our other members.
• Step 4: Show up with a positive attitude and let the organizer know who you are. Being a little late is no problem at all.
• Please RSVP and register to join anytime you think you might attend.
• RSVP cancellations can be made through our site at any time (or by contacting an organizer).
• Registrations to attend can be made until 6:30 PM on the day of the Meetup.
• Although there is no penalty for those who RSVP and don't show up, please don't make a habit of it. It's better to RSVP and not show than to show up without RSVPing (Attending without registering is NOT allowed).
