Join us for an unforgettable adventure at Nevado de Toluca, a magnificent stratovolcano nestled in central Mexico, approximately 80 kilometers (50 miles) west of Mexico City. This natural wonder is one of Mexico's tallest peaks, ranking fourth after Pico de Orizaba, Popocatépetl, and Iztaccíhuatl, making it a must-visit for hiking enthusiasts.

Our excursion will take us to explore the stunning crater lakes within the basin. Embark on a leisurely hike lasting about 3.5 hours, reaching an elevation of approximately 4,200 meters (13,800 feet). You will discover the breathtaking Lago del Sol (Sun Lake) and the enchanting Lago de la Luna (Moon Lake), the latter being smaller yet deeper. If you prefer, you can choose to hike solely to the crater's edge for spectacular panoramic views.

This trip is designed to be accessible; we will ascend gradually to help you acclimatize to the altitude. Tailor the intensity of your experience—whether you desire a gentle stroll or a more challenging hike, this adventure promises to connect you with the beauty of nature.

Trip Details:
Our journey is scheduled from 07:00 AM to 06:00 PM, ensuring ample time to explore and soak in the breathtaking environment.

Cost: 1,650 pesos. This fee covers private transportation for our small group and a certified bilingual guide. The price also includes entrance fees and necessary local transport from the entrance to the hiking site and back (approximately 30 minutes each way by local van).

All payments must be made in advance. International participants can pay through Wise transfer. In Mexico, payments can be made in cash at any 7 Eleven or Oxxo store, or via cash deposit at any Banamex bank. Alternatively, if you have a Mexican bank account, local transfers are accepted.
