Bonjour. J’ai une question concernant le prétérit en allemand. Dans mon livre, il est expliqué que pour les verbes faibles réguliers dont le radical se termine en d, t, m ou n, on ajoute un e entre le radical et le suffixe. Exemple : zeichnen > ich zeichnete. Sauf que pour Wohnen, leur autre exemple, il se conjugue bien sans le e (ich wohnte). Est-ce une erreur du livre pour les verbes se finissant en n ?
Hello. I have a question about the preterit in german. In my book, it is explained that for verbs ended in d, t, m or n, we must add an “e” before the “te”. For exemple : zeichnen > ich zeichnete. But Wohnen, the other example of the book, finishs in « n » and conjugate without the « e » (ich wohnte). Is this an error in the book for the verbs finishing in n ?
Guten Tag.
