  • I would call the police if my family members or someone esle, including me, were in danger. 2.

    • I think that the police are there to remind us to stay on the right way if it is necessary.
  • Nevertheless they have to respect the laws too.
    • If it is not the case, they must be sanctioned or fired. 3.
  • Would you like to be a police officer? Why, why not?
  • I could not be a policewoman because I don't have the required qualities.
    • I think it must be though to be strict all the time. 4.
  • Have you ever been stopped by the police?
  • When I was about eighteen, I went to a party with my boyfriend.
    • Early morning we decided to go back home but the police stopped us.
  • My boyfriend had drunk a bit too much.
    • The policemen asked me if I could drive the car but I didn't have any driving licence.
    • It was really early and the police officers wanted to go back home, too; then they gave us a lift.
  • They drove us back home in their van without any sanctions. 5.

  • As I told just before, they drove me back home.
    • Currently, they came at home to tell us that there was a small opening at the front garage door.

  • Positive or negative?
    • I have a positive feeling about them because as I told before, they are there to remind us to stay on the right way.
  • According to mee, in my country, most of them do their job as properly as possible. 7.
  • Have you ever bribed the police?
  • No, I try to be honest but as a joke, I like saying: "Something forbidden means it's forbidden...to get caught!" 8.
    • What are the qualities a good cop should have?
  • A good cop should appreciate teamwork, show perseverance; possess good stress management, adapt to changes in schedules and missions; accept discipline and carry a weapon; be able to make decisions and assert oneself; have a strong motivation and a high degree of autonomy; adhere to the company's values and be open-minded; adapt to a cosmopolitan and, constantly changing society; have sufficient intellectual and physical capacity; appreciate human contact and be able to resolve conflicts; know how to adapt, especially in difficult psychological situations.
