Help
It consists of intercultural lectures, conferences, and discussions organized by Polyglot Club members.
Its main goal is to enhance the understanding of foreign cultures by the community at large.
You want to know why people stereotype, you want to know more than just stereotypes, be sure to share!
By volunteering your natural knowledge about your country, your place, your language and your people, you will help them forge a better idea and stronger ties with you and your peers.
By doing so, you will extend your network of friends, learn and practice foreign languages, and work towards a better understanding across cultures.
You can conduct this in a conference room, in a lounge, in a dining room or any other quiet and comfortable place.
Your presentation need not be very extensive, nor exhaustive, but you should allow enough time for your audience to ask questions.
Ideally, you would hand out reading materials (brochures, pamphlets, articles) that they can take home, as a souvenir or as valuable information about a place that they might want to visit.
You can find these in the local tourist office, or on the Internet.
Likewise, you can provide the attendees with your personal information.
This will ease further contacts and exchanges with your future correspondents throughout the world.
