What is the new organization system for Polyglot Club Meetings in Paris, France ?

Thank you for being a part of the Polyglot Club community. Since our first weekly Polyglot Club gatherings seven years ago, these meetings quickly grew to fill a need to create and develop a network of potential partners for language and cultural exchanges in Paris and in the rest of the world. We are thrilled to see how popular our activities have become. To keep up with that pace, we are proud to tell you that the Polyglot Club service is being reinvented from 1 January 2011, in a way that will have a direct impact on you.
First off, we have added new online features, including easier referencing, access and usability, an enhanced language learning video upload system and faster tools to translate the website in different languages. Then, we are forging fruitful new partnerships in our field. Then, as of 7 January 2011, we will begin a new cycle of monthly (1st Friday of every month) World Music events… live! And we are looking to hire additional programmers and administrators to ensure Polyglot Club remains among the best language/cultural exchange tools on the Web.
But the most significant and exciting changes will take place during our Polyglot Club meetings in Paris. Over the years, our primary concerns have been community building and effective language exchanges. However, we have reached a plateau, and in order to move on to the next level and continue our steady growth, our system has to be improved. Our goal is to further strengthen the ties between Polyglot Club members as a group, and to enhance foreign language learning and cultural exchanges. And the single most efficient way to achieve those combined goals comes in the form of a Permanent Badge that all participants will be encouraged to wear during Polyglot Club gatherings. That system has already been implemented successfully and will allow for direct communication and more effective exchanges.
It is important to us that Polyglot Club be free and accessible for everyone. Thus, on 1 January 2011, we will switch to a different model, so that your participation in Polyglot Club meetings will remain free but for those who wish to become more faithful and committed, we will propose extra services, privileges, priority access and discounted drinks, simply by showing your Permanent Badge. For a complete list of those advantages, privileges and annual fee, click HERE.

If you think about how valuable your time is, we are sure you will realize that improving your foreign language skills is worth more than the minimal fee we are requiring. And just wait... if you could see what's on our drawing board for the next few months, you'd be as excited as we are.
