Join the PET Reading Club and share your love for books with like-minded individuals from diverse backgrounds. Our weekly co-reading sessions offer a relaxed and cozy environment for you to discuss your current reading experience, exchange ideas, and make new friends.

Selected Books

• A History of Western Philosophy, Catholic Philosophy by Bertrand Russell
• A Second Sex by Simone de Beauvoir
• The Psychology of Money Timeless lessons on wealth, greed, and happiness by Morgan Hou

Each week, we share 1 to 3 chapters from these books according to the agenda. However, you are welcome to bring and share the books you are currently reading with the group.

• 16:00-16:30: Introduction
• 16:30-19:00: Book sharing and discussion

Attention

Please sign up in advance to secure your spot. In case the number of participants is less than 1/3 of the expected number, the event will be canceled. The venue fee and admission fee are ¥69 per person, payable through WeChat to the account fish_alex.

Host

Meet our host, Edward Chen, a project management engineer who is passionate about exploring new things and making new friends. He is also an amateur marathon runner who plans to use that as a pretext to travel around the world by participating in marathon races. Edward is a bookworm who is particularly interested in philosophy, history, and any books that can challenge his thinking.
