With the Moroccan dialect, to say "sleep!", we will say "nhesse!" to a boy and "nèhssi!" to a girl.

With the Arabic language, we would have said "nome!" (أستيقظ).

You will find below the conjugation of this verb in the present:

Moroccan dialect Translation
ne nhèsse I sleep
te nhèsse / te nèhssi You sleep (boy) / You sleep (girl)
y nhèsse / te nhèsse He sleeps / She sleeps
ne nhèsso We sleep
te nhèsso You sleep
y nhèsso They sleep (mixed)
