Moroccan Arabic Grammar ➡ The verb "to Get up"

With the Moroccan dialect, to say "get up!", we will say "node!" to a boy and "nodi!" to a girl.

With the Arabic language, we would have said "astikazh!" (أستيقظ).

You will find below the conjugation of this verb in the present:

Moroccan dialect Translation
ne node I'm getting up
te node / te nodé You get up (boy) / You get up (girl)
y node / te node He gets up / She gets up
ne nodo We are getting up
te nodo You get up
y nodo They rise (mixed)
