Transportation is an essential aspect of daily life, whether it be commuting to work or running errands. In this lesson, we will learn common Urdu words and phrases related to transportation and how to give and receive directions in Urdu.
Common Transportation Vocabulary
Here are some common forms of transportation in Urdu:

Giving Directions
When it comes to giving directions in Urdu, we use the following phrases:
- "جب آپ وہاں پہنچ جائیں تو اس راستے کو اپنے بائیں ہاتھ کی طرف لیں" (Jab aap wahaa'n pahunch jayen toh iss raastay ko apnay baai'n haath ki taraf lein) means "When you reach there, take this road on your left side."
- "صرف دو کلو میٹر دُور ہے" (Sirf do kilo meetar door hai) means "It is just two kilometers away."
- "یہاں سے بائیں لفٹ لیں اور پھر دائیں مڑ جائیں" (Yahaan say baain left lein aur phir daain mudh jayein) means "Take a left from here and then take a right."
