Cultural Insights[edit | edit source]
In Nepal, there is a strong belief in the power of natural remedies and Ayurvedic medicine. Many Nepalis prefer to use home remedies that have been passed down from generation to generation. For example, drinking hot lemon water when you have a cold or eating ginger to reduce inflammation.
Ayurveda, which originated in India, is also widely practiced in Nepal. Ayurvedic medicine focuses on creating balance in the body and many Nepalis use it to treat both physical and mental health problems.
On a related note, yoga is also a popular practice for maintaining good health in Nepal. We often see people practicing yoga early in the morning or in the evening, either outdoors or in studios.
