惯(慣) guàn be accustomed to in Mandarin Chinese
Definition[edit | edit source]
Radical is 心 xīn “heart”. When at the left side of a character, this radical is referred to colloquially as 心字旁 xīnzìpáng “side made up of the character 心” and is written as 忄. Phonetic is 贯 (貫) guàn “pass through.” Distinguish 惯 (慣) from 慢 màn.
