In today's lesson, we will be discussing the conditional mood in Hindi. The conditional mood is used to express a hypothetical situation or an unreal condition. It is also used to express a wish or a desire. We will look at how to form sentences in the conditional mood and when to use them.

The conditional mood is formed by using the verb stem (the root of the verb) and adding the appropriate ending. The endings are as follows:

  • For masculine singular nouns: -e
  • For feminine singular nouns: -i
  • For masculine plural nouns: -en
  • For feminine plural nouns: -in

For example, the verb "karna" (to do) has the following forms in the conditional mood:

  • Masculine singular: kare
  • Feminine singular: kari
  • Masculine plural: karen
  • Feminine plural: karin

== Usage of the Conditional Mood ==
The conditional mood is used to express a hypothetical situation or an unreal condition. It is also used to express a wish or a desire. For example:

  • Agar main rich hota, toh main apne ghar ko badal deta. (If I were rich, I would change my house.)

It can also be used to express a polite request or suggestion. For example:

  • Aap please mujhe bata sakte hain? (Can you please tell me?)
