Before diving into vocabulary, let's have an overview of the Czech education system. Education in the Czech Republic is mandatory from the ages of 6 to 15. Primary school is attended for nine years, and secondary education is divided into two groups: vocational schools and grammar schools. Czech universities have a long-standing reputation for high-quality education and research, with Charles University in Prague being one of the oldest universities in the world.
