RuaJanuary 2018 Bonjour ....Good morning !! J' ai = I have Je suis = I am |
klarimondaFebruary 2018 Hello! You must use « j’ai » when you answer to the question: “How old are you?”. In English it’s “I’m 30 (y.o)” but in French « J’ai 30 ans = I have 30 years ». Also when you speak “I’m cold” in French it’s « J’ai froid = I have cold ». But usually you use « je suis » when you mean “I’m”. For exemple, « Je suis étudiant(e) = I’m a student » etc. |
