December 2018 Depial,
Your explanation doesn't seem right.
Today has nothing to do with direct or indirect objects. The subject is "to be" and it doesn't perform any action to/for "today"
"Today" is used as an adverb meaning 'at the present time in comparison to the past'.
Imho, one should first learn the reality of a thing before commenting here.
![]() | jennifer_kOctober 2017 What's today's topic? What's today's focus? |
![]() | genzaimuMarch 2014 Maybe use "What is today's main focus?" or "What is the main focus for today?" If you do not want to use any of my suggestion then I would use the first one of yours. The latter two just sounds awkward with the use of "on" in the sentence. |
