I had to Google ”butterfly milk” to learn what it was, as I’d never heard of it until now, but it appears to be a drink originally from Thailand made by adding the tea of the butterfly pea flower to a glass of milk. If you Google image search ”butterfly milk” or, better yet, ”butterfly pea milk” you should find pictures of a milky drink with a tasty-looking blue colour; apparently it’s considered very refreshing! |
Mojo12345March 2022 Ah, brilliant, you’re very welcome. Yes I think you can be reassured that ”butterfly milk” isn’t a special idiom or phrase in English, and that it merely relates to this particular type of milky tea drink that most native English speakers will have never heard of =)
