Hello. Is it possible to use ”hang up” to refer to end a phone call without anger ?Or it’s just used to talk about ending a phone call unexpectedly?

Most definitely yes. ”to hang up” when referring to finishing a phone call was from a long time ago when telephones were on walls and you would literally ”hang up” the receiver when you finished the phone call.

”to hang up on sb” means to either end the phone call unexpectedly or to finish the phone call angrily.

    Probably better to say ”bye” for most conversations. ”Goodbye” nowadays is used when you never will see/hear the person again or it will be a long time before seeing/speaking again.

    ”We talked and laughed for ten minutes on the phone ,then we said good bye and hung up.”
    So this sentence is correct , right ?
