Get an umbrella. Don’t stick to London. No one speaks another language except English. However most English speakers are very forgiving to non English speakers and will try hard to understand you. You please and sorry a lot. Even if it’s not your fault the English are always sorry.
I’m sorry you stood on my foot
Good luck

exRanger - spot on that is very true, but you wont get much Pashto in the Cotswolds or Cornwall, or Wales

Um, except there are THOUSANDS of people in Greater London who speak (fluently) Hindi, Tamal, Arabic, Turkish, Pashto, Farsi, Nigerian, Ukrainian, Polish, Roumanian, and more.

VISA REQUIREMENTS DEPEND ON YOUR COUNTRY OF ORIGIN, I.E., THE PASSPORT WHICH YOU CARRY.

Let's have a look @ your Profile: okay, seems that you are a Chinese national from China.

    YOU WILL REQUIRE A VISA.

Hi!
Below is a brief response to your question. You can find out more via this link: https://www.adventureinyou.com/travel-guides/uk-travel-tips/

• Although it's not a necessity, when traveling it's advisable to have the basic knowledge of the language of your destination (in this case English language). This is to ensure that you have no issues with communication.

• Except you enjoy cold or wet weather, you might prefer traveling during the other seasons. This holds true even when migrating because it helps you settle down faster.

• Prepare to be adventurous. Try the different dishes, tour the breathtaking views and explore the rich culture.
