Letter to a recruitment agency

• Dear Sir or Madam, The international company I’m working for is expanding its office in London and it would like to attract employees from different countries.

• First of all, I would like to explain shortly the type of work my company is involved in.

• I work for a translation agency specialized in the translation of literary and audiovisual content.

• As for the job conditions, they will be paid the fixed sum of £1.500 per month.

• Moreover, it exists the possibility of obtaining incentives, which amount is not determined yet.

• In regards to the work timetable, we give to our employees the opportunity to decide if they want to work from home 2 of the 5 working days.

• Our work timetable is from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 2 pm.

• A suitable applicant should be able to speak at least 3 of the following languages: English, French, Spanish, Japanese and Chinese and have at least two years of experience of working as a translator.

• Furthermore, the applicant should have studied a Bachelor’s Degree in Translation or in Philology in which case they should demonstrate their knowledge of the languages they want to apply for.

• For example, the Cambridge Advanced certificate, for the English language.
