Is fast food popular in your country?

• Most of them are American chains (for example, Five Guys, McDonald’s, Burger King’s.

• However, there are some others that are typically Italians.

• I’d say that fast food is quite popular during week days, while during weekends people prefer to have Italian-style meals, sitting for hours at the table eating and having nice conversations with their friends or families.

• As everything in life, the abuse of some kinds of meals may create health problems.

• This regards in particular very fat meals, such as burgers or fried food.

• There are some other chains that sell pizza, tacos instead, which may be less unhealthy even if also in these cases the abuse in not suggested.

• A good balance would be to eat at home fresh and home made food and go to fast foods only twice a month.

• During week days, when we are out of home and cannot cook, the ideal solution would be to avoid fast foods and go and eat in normal restaurants.

• Many restaurants close to the offices are specialized in preparing meals very fast but with good and high-quality ingredients.

• This is possible thanks to a limited variety of options in the menu, that however allows them to be quick and maintain high-quality standards.
