  • Task 2 part 2 (sorry my text is too long)

  • Here we come to the point where I disagree with the statement.
  • And again I can include the example with the old doctor living in the streets.
  • Though we all know that he has no money nor any other properties most of us respect him for his decision.
  • It doesn't mean that there are some people who say he still deserved his destiny because he gave up.
  • But I can also understand the statement because in our society the richest people have the most influence in mostly all aspects of life.
  • Some examples are the newest fashion, politics and when it comes to America again we can also include the fact that you need a lot of money for your children's education.
  • Hereby we have to make a clear seperation though.
  • In my country, Germany, it is easier to "climb the ladder of success" than I think it is in America.
  • You get your funds for education from the state and you don't have to pay any per cents when you pay back.
  • You can join a party and become a politician if you want to- for sure other aspects also play a big role- but you don't have to spend a lot of money on the campaign.
  • Also in 15 of 16 German counties you don't have to pay for universities.
  • There are actual office-work payments you have to consider but you pay like 300€ a semester for those.
  • In comparison to America it is nothing as you can pay up to 50 000 $ depending on your university funds.
  • I have seen many differences during my time in the USA.
  • Like people who really seem to be of good honour, kind and even clever.
  • But whose social background just doesn't allow them to get a good education and a good job afterwards.
  • And they are maybe too average to receive a scholarship.
  • And if they request money from the bank they pay it back until they are at least 30 years old.
