  • On the one hand, countries’ financial resources should be allocated to provide permanent residents with a minimum standard of life.
    • That is, the state, as the main authority in a country, should shoulder the responsibility of addressing social diseases such as unemployment, an effective way of which is to allocate some parts of its revenue to regular payments for the jobless.
  • Not only could it enhance overall citizen satisfaction, but it is bound to reduce statistics of petty crimes such as shop-lifting that are rooted in unemployment and ill-suited financial policies.
  • Take those how have lost their earning capability as an example.
    • Since there are too few vacancies for them, government should pay them financial aids while they are seeking for a job.
  • On the other hand, financial supports for unoccupied workforce may prove to be detrimental for the industrial economy.
    • That is, if is not controlled by strict regulations, this policy may render working-age population reluctant to work, thereby spelling labour shortage troubles in labour market.Once community members, from all walks of life, are given the opportunity to receive a regular payment, they may hesitate to seek for a job and prefer to lead a simple and comfortable life with their unemployment benefits.
    • This, in a long run, reduces the number of proficient workforces and disturbs business and industry.
    • Therefore, the government should take the initiative to restrict unemployment compensation to those who are challenging serious problems such as physical disabilities.
  • In conclusion, I believe authorities should spend a major part of their funding on regularly paid money for the jobless.
    • Nevertheless, they should put the highest effort into identifying those who certainly need governments’ financial aids.
