When I discovered the Joint International Master Program, I found it very interesting since the beginning.

Among many reasons, certainly the wide variety of courses offered by the different universities allow the student to create a path tailored on your needs.

As far as I’m concerned, I’ve chosen the university of Graz as host university 1 while Leipzig as the one where to attend the specialization track named “Resources Management”.

The university of Graz offered a wide range of exams during the first semester, which help the student have a global comprehension of Sustainability field, as well as put theory concept of Sustainable development into practice.

In addition, and that is one of the parts I prefer the most, during this first period, it is possible to choose elective courses, based on the student’s need and interests.

As concerns mine, I’ve always found interesting Ethics, which has been the main subject of my Bachelor final paper.

Having the opportunity to study “Climate Ethics” as an elective course, motivated me more.

On the other hand, I’ve chosen the specialization track in “Resource Management” because it can be very useful for my future career project.

In fact, I’d like to work in municipalities or in local NGOs.

Cities can be a starting point for raising citizens awareness for sustainable development: if people have effective sustainable alternatives available, they will start using hem being themselves promoters of a lifestyle that can make a difference.

In addition, I am particularly attracted in learning about management, because I think it allows to put into practice the knowledge learnt during the first semester.

Even tough I have never studied this subject before, I am not scared about challenges.

I am aware that I need to overcome the obstacles to improve my skills.

I am an ambitious woman who wants to learn as much as possible from the experiences.

Furthermore, If I have a goal, I know that I need t work hard to achieve it.

As an example, the first year of my university career, I attended another faculty.

At the end of that year, knowing the consequences of my choice, I decided to change field of study t focus my attention on the international relations.

At the same time, I did not want to “loose” an academic year, so I made a promise: I would have graduated in three years anyway.

So I did: from the first year of my new university faculty I took several exams in advance, making also some sacrifices.

Despite all the difficulties I accomplished my goal and graduated on November 2018 with the highest mark.
