My Spanish friend came over me from Taichung since December 30th ,2017 to Junuary 1st ,2018.

Though most people have already returned to the peaceful and quiet life after January 1st, even more the Chinese New Year have already past, I am going to recall my memories and share some pictures which I took in remembrance of the nice trip I had with my friend, Sergio.

Our first stop was going to the area which Sergio's ancestors occupied about 400 years ago.

When I had already getting old and forgot some part of knowledges I leared in high school (even more I was not sure about the right answer of ‘’ Which is the first country that colonied and built a castle in the north of Taiwan , Spain or Netherland?

‘’ ) suprisely, Sergio was more familiar with the history of Taiwan than me and solve my confusion.

Actually, Fort San Domingo (淡水紅毛城) was more smaller than I imaged, I thought the castle would big enough to hold the luxurious porm just like the movie ‘’Marie Antoinette’’, however , it just like a house of a subtle ambassador.

I didn’t took many photos of this monument, instead, I was more interested in the lively turtles in Aletheia University (真理大學).

Skip the Tamsui Old Street (淡水老街), aside from waiting in line for famous food, this is a place which was full of tourist who walk slowly.

After eating local snack ‘’Ah Gei (阿給,Oily Bean Curd) '’ symbolically, we left the land and took a advanture on the sea.

Third, we always went to some relatively dangerous places which are without a lot of tourist.

Those rules will be verify in the following days and our next trip in Hualien (花蓮).

Despite the dirty and bad smell smoke was pollute from the moving ship whole the way, the journey at sea was more far and more excited than the last time when we took a ferry in Cijin(旗津), Kaohsiung(高雄).

We stayed in the deck, felt the strong and salty wind, a few waterdrops splashed on my face, I thought some of them were from the sea, another of them is from the glommy sky.

Although the weather was bad, I couldn’t see the view of astonishing sunset as like which I visited Tamsui (淡水) at the first time about two years ago, traveling in the sea and imaged myself as a fearless pirate was areadly make my mind fill with happiness.
