Mr Magic
- Mr Magic: "Good morning, my name is Magic".
- The bank manager: "How can I help you?".
- Mr M: "I'm already helped by someone who is in a better position than you.
- I don't really need your help".
- The b m: "Pardon?
- Why are you here, then?".
- Mr M: "Listen to me carefully, because I'm going to talk to you frankly just once: I want all the money of your bank".
- The bank manager turned pale and Mr Magic smiled genuinely.
- Mr M: "I'm joking.
- I'd never take some money from this bank without your approval.
- Let's talking seriously, what I really want is a huge amount of money to support a certain kind of business, that I can pledge, it is extremely profitable".
- The b m: "This is a bank, Mr Magic, basically our job consists in helping people like you.
- Let me know what kind of business you are talking about".
- Mr M: "A business which could double a sum of money, but I can't giving you more details here.
- I know you need to know what it is about, but it's better if you come to visit me if you want to understand better".
- Some days later the bank manger went to Mr Magic's house, moved by curiosity.
- He lived in a isolated two-story house.
- Upstairs there was a big room, a round table and long curtains on the windows.
- Mr M: "This is the place where I work".
- The bank manager couldn't see any tracks of any job.
- The b m: "What's your job?".
- Mr M: "Do you have some money with you?
- Give me all the money you have and you won't be disappointed".
- Mr Magic put all the cash he received on the table and said gibberish.
- What happened next was a little bit confused.
- The bank manager could only see lights and smoke, and also heard voices of a spirit.
- At the end the money had indeed doubled.
- The b m: "What happened?".
- Mr Magic: "You're lucky.
- The spirit likes you and doubled all your money. Take it. It's yours".
- The bank manager couldn't believe it.
- It wasn't counterfeit money.
- He took all the money and left.
- He thought: "Mr Magic is a real interested person".
- Three years later a newspaper reported that bank was having cash flow problems.
- Crowed of people gathered outside, waiting to withdraw their own money.
