  • The possibility of enlargement the range of optimum regimes of falling of the fluid film on corrugated surface of the new structured packing with slits are presented.
  • Results of determining of the flow rate of the liquid, flowing through the slits to the opposite side of the packing element are presented.
  • The authors discovered that the range of the optimum flow rates may be increased if the surface of the packing element will be wet before irrigating.
