Abstract
The possibility of enlargement the range of optimum regimes of falling of the fluid film on corrugated surface of the new structured packing with slits are presented.
Results of determining of the flow rate of the liquid, flowing through the slits to the opposite side of the packing element are presented.
The authors discovered that the range of the optimum flow rates may be increased if the surface of the packing element will be wet before irrigating.
The way to increase the rate of effective interfacial surface area of the packing for gas-liquid contact per unit volume packed columns is presented
