About my experience in Boston + alpha
- I'd like to continue talking about the experience of New Year's day in Boston.
- In fact, there's a lot of similarity between Tokyo and Boston. 1.
- Both of them has a great public transportation... Subway. (or Metro?
- What is the difference?) Here in CA, we can't live without driving a car.
- Everything spread out and it's really inconvenient.
- I wish I could go to LA more easily. 2. The smell! I'm serious.
- I felt a scent of winter there, which I can't feel at the west coast.
- Probably that is because it is not as cold as Boston lol Anyway, that reminded me of Tokyo and to be honest I was almost crying from the nostalgia. 3.
- Broadness of sidewalk.
- That must be related to 1.
- There were many pedestrian until midnight.
- I think that is the symbol of the safety of the city...
- I mean, except really suburb area :p Well, that's the general impression I had about Boston.
- About the day, I went to see the fireworks with my friend.
- The view from Boston Common was awesome!
- I confess here that I had underestimated the quality of fireworks in the US till then lol Then we grabbed a fried dough, which tasted like Agepan in Japan, before going back my friend's home.
- Then we ate hot soba noodle as a custom of New Year's eve in Japan.
- It means to live "thin(not outstanding) but longer" life.
- I'd like to know much about the custom in New Year's day in other countries :) By the way, hereby I swear I will continue writing something here at least 1 month.
- Is it abruptly?
- Just because I can't stick to anything without swearing in front of someone.
- Ahhh it's tough work for me to write such a long article in English! Bye then!
