Perfect venue :

=> Bar/pub in a central area, downtown etc ... easy access for majority of people

=> Not too crowded place so people can still have conversation without shouting

=> meeting at least 2 weeks in advance

=> maximum adverstizement on internet and sticking posters around (in places you know there are foreigners)

Regarding your question : is it better to practice with native or non native ?

I  would say none is better just different

with non natives you can practice your target language 100% ot  the time : 

with natives you have to teach your native language to them, so you  only practice 50% of the time

however of course natives will teach you the language better

G'day everyone! I will be having a meetup on the 12th November in the city. I'm still sorting out where though!!! Give me some ideas for a venue!

de créer un event sur le site

j'enverrai une invitation ensuite

vu qu'il n'y pas trop de membres dans la région, je te conseille de créer le même event sur Meetup également
