Join us each week as over 150 participants from more than 23 countries come together for our vibrant language exchange! It's a fantastic opportunity to practice a new language while making friends over a casual beer. 🍻
When you attend our gatherings at New To Melbourne, you'll immediately feel the friendly community atmosphere. Our members are welcoming and eager to help newcomers feel at home. Bring a friend along and enjoy some valuable language practice!
Our language exchange is absolutely free, taking place every Wednesday evening. Arrive by 6 PM to enjoy affordable food and drinks while sharing a meal with others! 🍻🍟

===== EVENT FORMAT =====
Upon arrival, you'll receive a badge displaying your native language and the languages you're eager to learn. Wear your badge with your native language on the right and the languages you're learning on the left. Then, mingle and practice with others!
What to bring: A pen, paper, and plenty of positive vibes!
Age Requirement: 18+

===== FREE BEER AND PIZZA FOR VOLUNTEERS! =====
We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help welcome newcomers to our group. In return, you'll receive free drinks and food (including pizza) and get to hang out with a friendly team of fellow volunteers. If it's your first time, feel free to apply—many of our volunteers are new too!

We prioritize a safe and welcoming environment for our members. To ensure everyone enjoys our events, we have established a few ground rules:
1. This is *not* a dating event. Please refrain from requesting personal contact information. Use the meetup.com private chat for communication instead.
