Join us weekly as over 150 individuals from more than 23 countries gather at our language exchange to enhance their language skills while making new friends over drinks.🍻
At New To Melbourne, you’ll immediately sense our vibrant community spirit; our members are warm, welcoming, and eager to assist newcomers. Bring a friend along and dive into an enriching language practice session! Our exchanges happen every Wednesday night, and if you arrive by 6 PM, you can enjoy affordable food and drinks while mingling with fellow attendees! 🍻🍟

Upon arrival, you will receive a badge indicating your native language and the languages you wish to learn. Wear it proudly—native language on the right, target languages on the left—and get ready to meet fellow language enthusiasts!

We’re on the lookout for cheerful volunteers eager to assist and welcome newcomers. Enjoy complimentary drinks and food (like pizza wedges) while connecting with other friendly volunteers. If it’s your first time, don’t hesitate to apply—many of our volunteers are new faces too!
