Στοιχεία του σχηματισμού του ρήματος | Structure and constituents of verb | Éléments constitutifs des formes verbales
Greek verbs are made up of variable elements:
For example :
|
Les verbes grecs sont constituées d'éléments variables:
Par exemple :
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Η κατάληξη του ρηματικού τύπου είναι το τελευταίο μέρος
που αλλάζει, για να δηλωθεί η φωνή, το πρόσωπο, ο αριθμός, η έγκλιση και ο χρόνος: -ω, -εις, -ει (ενικός αριθμός) -ομεν, -ετε, -ουσι ( πληθυντικός αρ. ) -ω, -ῃς, -ῃ κτλ. -ον, -ες, -ε κτλ. -ομαι, -ει, -εται κτλ. -ωμαι, -ῃ, -ηται κτλ |
The endings mark the person, the voice, the number, the code and the time:
|
Les désinences marquent la personne, la voix, le nombre, l'indicatif et le temps :
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Κάθε ρήμα κανονικά έχει δύο θέματα,
από τα οποία σχηματίζονται οι διάφοροι τύποι του. Τα θέματα αυτά είναι το ρηματικό και το χρονικό. |
Each verb normally has two themes,
from which its variable elements are formed. These themes are the verbal and the temporal. |
When a verb is formed with a prefix, the augment,
in past tense, is placed between the prefix and the verbal theme (the prefix elides if it ends with a vowel). That is, they have the syllabic or temporal increase after the preposition: Eg. :
|
Quand un verbe est formé avec un préfixe, l'augment,
aux temps du passé, se place entre le préfixe et le thème verbal (le préfixe s'élide s'il s'achève par une voyelle). C'est-à-dire qu'ils ont l'augmentation syllabique ou temporelle après la préposition : Par ex. :
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Τα παρασύνθετα ρήματα που το α΄ συνθετικό τους
ΔΕΝ είναι πρόθεση, έχουν τη συλλαβική ή χρονική αύξηση στην αρχή, σαν να ήταν απλά: π,χ Παρασύνθετο : δυστυχῶ – ἐδυστύχουν – ἐδυστύχησα κτλ.· Παρασύνθετο : μυθολογῶ– ἐμυθολόγουν – ἐμυθολόγησα κτλ. |
Compound verbs whose synthetic α΄ is not a preposition,
have the syllabic or temporal increase at the start, as if they were simple:
|
Les verbes composés dont l' α΄ synthétique n'est pas une préposition,
ont l'augmentation syllabique ou temporelle au début, comme si ils étaient simples :
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
For some ancient Greek verbs (simple or compound), there is an irregular increase:
α) Verbs: βούλομαι (want, desire), δύναμαι (power) and μέλλω (I'm about to) have a normal increase ἐ and an irregular ἠ (from the analogy of ἐθέλω or θέλω -ἤθελον) βούλομαι (want): ἐβουλόμην (indicative imperfect) and ἠβουλόμην (second type of imperfect) ἐβουλήθην και ἠβουλήθην (aorist β΄type) δύναμαι: ἐδυνάμην and ἠδυνάμην (passive imperfect) ἐδυνήθην and ἠδυνήθην (passive aorist) μέλλω (I am about to): ἔμελλον and ἤμελλον (imperfect) |
Pour certains verbes du grec ancien (simples ou composés), il y a une augmentation irrégulière :
α) Les verbes : βούλομαι (vouloir, désirer), δύναμαι(pouvoir) et μέλλω (je suis sur le point de) ont une augmentation normale ἐ et une irrégulière ἠ (de l'analogie de ἐθέλω ou θέλω -ἤθελον) βούλομαι (vouloir): ἐβουλόμην (indic. imparfaif) et ἠβουλόμην (deuxième type de l’imparfait) ἐβουλήθην και ἠβουλήθην (aoriste β΄type) δύναμαι: ἐδυνάμην et ἠδυνάμην (imparfait passif) ἐδυνήθην et ἠδυνήθην ( aoriste passive ) μέλλω (I am about to): ἔμελλον et ἤμελλον (imparfait)
β) μερικά ρήματα που αρχίζουν από –ε-
έχουν αύξηση ει και όχι η: ἐθίζω (συνηθίζω) – εἴθιζον· ἑλίττω ( τυλίγω) – εἵλιττον· ἕλκω (σέρνω) – εἷλκον· ἕπομαι – εἱπόμην περι-έπω ( μεταχειρίζομαι κάποιον καλά) περιεῖπον |
β) some verbs starting with –ε- have an increase –ει- and not η-:
Eg. :
|
β) certains verbes commençant par –ε- ont une augmentation –ει- et non- η-:
Par ex. :
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
γ) Τα ρήματα ὠθῶ, ὠνοῦμαι (αγοράζω) και (κατ)άγνυμι (σπάζω),
αν και αρχίζουν από φωνήεν, έχουν συλλαβική αύξηση: ὠθῶ , ἐ-ώθουν, ὠνοῦμαι , ἐ-ωνούμην, (κατ)άγνυμι > (κατ)έαξα |
γ) Verbs ὠθῶ (to push), ὠνοῦμαι (to buy)
and (κατ) άγνυμι (break), although they start with a vowel, have a syllabic increase:
|
γ) Les verbes ὠθῶ (pousser), ὠνοῦμαι (acheter)
et (κατ) άγνυμι ( briser), bien qu'ils commencent par une voyelle, ont une augmentation syllabique:
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The imperfect verb ὁράω -ῶ (see),
the verb ἁλίσκομαι (to catch, to dominate oneself) to β΄aorist and the verb ἀν-οίγω (to open) to all historical tenses, accept two increases at the same time:
|
Le verbe ὁράω -ῶ (voir) à l’imparfait,
le verbe ἁλίσκομαι (attraper, se dominer) à β΄aoriste et le verbe ἀν-οίγω (ouvrir) à tous les temps historiques, acceptent en même temps, deux augmentations :
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
ε) Το ρήμα ἑορτάζω παίρνει τη χρονική αύξηση στη δεύτερη συλλαβή: ἑώρταζον, ἑώρτασα. | ε) The verb ἑορτάζω (to celebrate) takes the time increase
in the second syllable: ἑώρταζον, ἑώρτασα. |
ε) Le verbe ἑορτάζω (fêter) prend l'augmentation temporelle
à la deuxième syllabe : ἑώρταζον, ἑώρτασα.
Προσοχή:
Η πρόθεση ἐκ μπροστά από φωνήεν γίνεται ἐξ π.χ. πέμπω > ἔ-πεμπον, αλλά ἐκ-πέμπω > ἐξ-έ-πεμπον |
Warning:
The preposition ἐκ before a vowel becomes ἐξ eg. πέμπω> ἔ-πεμπον, But ἐκ-πέμπω> ἐξ-έ-πεμπον |
Attention:
La préposition ἐκ devant une voyelle devient ἐξ par ex.
Mais
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Στην περίπτωση που το ρήμα αρχίζει από ῥ
(π.χ. ῥίπτω), τότε εκτός από το ἐ της αύξησης διπλασιάζεται και το ῥ. Έτσι ο παρατατικός του ῥίπτω γίνεται ἔρριπτον |
If the verb starts with ῥ
(e.g. I fall), so in addition to the ἐ of the increase, ῥ also doubles. Thus the imperfect of ῥίπτω becomes ἔρριπτον |
Dans le cas où le verbe commence par ῥ
(par ex. je tombe), alors en plus du ἐ de l'augmentation, le ῥ également redouble. Ainsi l’imparfait de ῥίπτω devient ἔρριπτον
Ποιες είναι οι αλλαγές;
Με λίγα λόγια κάποια φωνήεντα αλλάζουν, όπως φαίνεται στη συνέχεια. |
What are the changes?
The table below illustrates some changes from the verb to the past during its construction. |
Quels sont les changements?
Le tableau ci-dessous, illustre certaines changeants du verbe au passé, pendant sa construction.
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Θα πρέπει να θυμόμαστε κυρίως τις εξής αλλαγές:
α > η ε > η ο > ω το ι > γίνεται υπογεγραμμένη |
Above all, remember the following changes:
|
Il faut surtout se souvenir des changements suivants:
