Giving Your Opinion

Giving your opinion in Lithuanian is quite simple. To express your opinion, you can use the following phrases:

  • Manau (I think)
  • Aš manau (I believe)
  • Aš sakau (I say)
  • Aš galvoju (I think)

You can also use the phrase "Aš tikiu" (I believe) to express your opinion.

Examples

Lithuanian Pronunciation English Translation
Manau ma-now I think
Aš manau ash ma-now I believe
Aš sakau ash sa-kow I say
Aš galvoju ash ga-low-ju I think
Aš tikiu ash ti-kiu I believe

Here are some examples of how to use these phrases:

  • Manau, kad tai yra geras sprendimas. (I think that this is a good solution.)
  • Aš manau, kad tai yra geriausias būdas. (I believe that this is the best way.)
  • Aš sakau, kad tai yra blogas sprendimas. (I say that this is a bad solution.)
  • Aš galvoju, kad tai yra blogas būdas. (I think that this is a bad way.)
  • Aš tikiu, kad tai yra geras būdas. (I believe that this is a good way.)
