In this lesson, we will cover how to give your opinion in Lithuanian. Having an opinion is essential in communicating with others, and it's always interesting to know what others think.

Now, we will learn how to use these adjectives and give our opinion in sentences. Let's imagine we are talking about a movie we've seen recently. Here are some examples:

Heading 2: Positive opinions[edit | edit source]
- Ačiū už nuostabų filmą! (Thank you for the wonderful movie!)
- Man fantastiškas! (I think it was fantastic!)
- Mano nuomone, tai puikus filmas. (In my opinion, it's an excellent movie.)
- Man jis labai patiko. (I really liked it.)
- Man gerai seksis, jei tu taip toliau filmuosi. (You'll do well if you keep making movies like this.)
Heading 2: Negative opinions[edit | edit source]
- Man nepatiko. (I didn't like it.)
- Mano nuomone, tai buvo prastai padarytas filmas. (In my opinion, it was a poorly made movie.)
- Tiesą sakant, man tai blogas filmas. (To be honest, it's a bad movie for me.)
- Man baisus jausmas nesusižavėjus šiuo filmu. (I feel terrible without enthusiasm for this movie.)
- Paprastai aš renkuosi gerus filmus. Todėl šis nebuvo mano rūpestis. (Usually, I choose good movies. That's why this one wasn't my concern.)
Heading 2: Neutral opinions[edit | edit source]
- Mano asmenine nuomone, tai vidutiniškas filmas. (Personally, it's an average movie.)
- Man tai reikšminga, tačiau yra kam geriau. (It's important to me, but there are better movies out there.)
- Man tai vidutiniškas, bet nieko ypatingo. (It's average, nothing special for me.)
- Nežinau, kaip manau apie filmą. (I'm not sure what I think about the movie.)
It's essential to note that when giving your opinion, you can express it with different levels of certainty. If you are 100% sure about your opinion, you can use phrases like "aš manau" (I think) or "mano nuomone" (in my opinion). If you are less sure about what you think, you can use phrases like "man tai reikšminga" (it's important to me) or "manai" (Do you think).
Here is an example dialogue:
- Person 1: Ką tu manai apie šį filmą? (What do you think about this movie?)
- Person 2: Mano nuomone, tai buvo nuostabus filmas. (In my opinion, it was a wonderful movie.)
- Person 1: Man jis labai nepatiko. (I didn't like it very much.)
