These are 2 feminine nouns but I'm willing to bet there's one you don't like at all.

L'amande

"L'amande" is the fruit of the almond tree (L'amandier).

L'amende

"L'amende" is a fine.

  • Les gendarmes lui ont mis une amende parce qu’elle mangeait des amandes en conduisant.

The policemen fined her for eating almonds while driving.
