Vocative case markers “-ო” and “-ვ” in Georgian

The vocative case markers are “-ო” and “-ვ” for the nouns ending on vowels.

  • Compare: კაც-ი (nom.) – კაც-ო (voc.), ქალ-ი (nom.) – ქალ-ო (voc.) and დედა (nom.) – დედა-ვ (voc.) or დედა-ო (voc.), მამა (nom.) – მამა-ვ (voc.) or მამა-ო (voc.)
