The postposition of the Nominative in Georgian

The postposition of the nominative is “-ვით” – “like”. It is added only to nouns ending on consonants: ლომივით (“like a lion”), ბავშვივით (“like a child”), ქალივით (“like a woman”). Nouns ending on vowels have the same postposition, but it is in the dative case.
